Lab Manager/Safety Director/HIPAA Officer, November 1995 to present.
Working manager overseeing the financial, technical and daily operations
of the lab. Designed and equipped the lab from inception. Implemented a
lab information system for on/off-site ordering, testing and result reporting.
Interfaced LIS with medical records and reference labs for paperless labs
and electronic medical records.

Lab Director/Safety Director, April 1987 to October 1995.
Directed and evaluated 35 employees with a very low turnover rate. Developed
and maintained a departmental expense budget of $1M and a revenue of $4M.
Developed accurate cost/test analysis and monthly productivity analysis.
Served on the following committees: Tissue and Transfusion, Infection Control,
and the Automation Task Force. Chaired the Safety Committee for three years.
Served as clinical coordinator for implementation of the hospital and laboratory
